Purpose
GL Complaint is designed to help genuine consumers make legitimate complaints to their energy suppliers using their legal rights under UK energy regulation. This Acceptable Use Policy explains the standards you must follow when using our service.
You must provide accurate information
You must provide honest, accurate information about your complaint when using GL Complaint. Our AI uses the information you provide to generate complaint letters. If you provide false, exaggerated, or misleading information, the letters generated will be inaccurate and could constitute a fraudulent claim against your energy supplier.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in a letter you send. Review all generated documents carefully before sending them.
You must not use GL Complaint for fraudulent purposes
You must not use GL Complaint to:
- Make false or exaggerated claims against an energy supplier
- Claim compensation you do not believe you are genuinely entitled to
- Make claims on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent
- Submit multiple complaints about the same issue to extract multiple compensation payments
- Manipulate or misrepresent the AI outputs to support a fraudulent claim
Making fraudulent claims against energy suppliers is a serious matter and may constitute a criminal offence. GL Complaint will cooperate with any lawful investigation into misuse of our service.
You must review documents before sending
Every document generated by GL Complaint should be carefully reviewed by you before it is sent to your supplier or any third party including the Energy Ombudsman. You are responsible for the accuracy of the documents you send. Do not send a document you have not read and understood.
You must not abuse the AI system
You must not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse the AI system to produce outputs outside the intended purpose of GL Complaint. You must not use automated scripts or bots to interact with our service. Accounts that attempt to abuse the AI system will be suspended.
Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy. If we have reason to believe your use of GL Complaint is fraudulent, we may report this to relevant authorities including the energy supplier concerned and, where appropriate, the police or Action Fraud.
Reporting misuse
If you become aware of misuse of GL Complaint, please report it to support@golitigo.ai.
