Who we are
GL Complaint is operated by Litigo Limited (trading as GoLitigo), registered in England and Wales under company number 15742685. We are the data controller for personal data collected through complaint.golitigo.ai.
What data we collect
When you use GL Complaint, we collect the following data to provide our service:
Account data: Email address, full name (when provided), password hash (for email/password accounts). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Complaint data: Information you provide about your complaint including your description of the issue, dates, amounts, and other facts relevant to your case. This is stored to generate letters and track your complaint.
Profile data: Address, postcode, and phone number (when provided) to populate complaint letters.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and anonymised analytics via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
How we use your data
We use your data to provide the GL Complaint service: generating complaint letters, tracking deadlines, sending notification emails, and calculating compensation estimates. We also use anonymised data to improve our service.
We process your data under the following lawful bases: contract performance (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (improving the service, preventing fraud), and consent (marketing emails, if you opt in).
AI processing
Your complaint information is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to analyse your case and generate complaint letters. This data is processed under our data processing agreement with Anthropic. Anthropic does not use your data to train their AI models. Your complaint text is not stored by Anthropic after processing.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the following processors to provide our service:
Supabase (database hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error monitoring), Google (analytics).
We do not share your complaint details with the companies you complain about - that is your choice.
Data retention
Your account and complaint data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting privacy@golitigo.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of a valid request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@golitigo.ai.

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how our service is used. You can control cookie settings in your browser.
